Biographical Information[edit]
Ted Keck was a college coach.
Keck played football and track (a two-time conference shot put champion) as well as baseball in college. He was a first Lieutenant in the Army during World War II. He returned to Minot State Teachers College/Minot State College, coaching baseball, football and wrestling. He took the team to the 1962 NAIA College World Series. From 1963-1970, he was the chair of the physical education department at Northern Arizona University. He held the same role at Texas State University - San Marcos from 1970-1989.
