Biographical Information

Tariq Suboh was on the Palestine American team that represented the former British colony of Palestine in the 2023 West Asian Baseball Cup, finishing second ahead of authentic Asian teams not loaded with Americans. That qualified them for the 2023 Asian Championship. In their Asian Championship debut against Hong Kong national team, he was the catcher and batted cleanup. He drew a walk from Chun-Pui Mok his first two times up, then a bases-loaded walk from Ka-Ho Sam Leung the next trip to the plate. He doubled off Lai-Him Lam to drive in a run for a perfect day at the plate. He hit .375/.667/.500 for the event with six walks and four RBI in five games, fielding .920 and allowing 10 steals in 11 tries. He tied Yukiya Yano for second in the event in walks, two behind Seung-yeup Na and led his team in RBI and OBP.
