Tamás Radványi hit under .300 in Hungary from 2006-2010, but started 2011 with a blast at age 19, hitting .447 and easily leading the league in steals (26 SB, 1 CS in 15 G). He made the Hungarian national team for the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers and led their offense in that event (6 for 13, 2B, 3 RBI, 3 SB, 0 CS). He had 3 of the team's 5 RBI in the qualifier. Among players with 10+ AB, only Spain's Marc Carrillo and Danny Figueroa had higher averages. He tied Figueroa for 6th in hits, tied Franklin Tavarez for 6th in slugging and tied for third in steals.
