I'd trust the Cards' guide on the school (there are a lot of mistakes on the BR site). On stolen bases, I'm not sure. It may be that the two treat pick-offs differently (they are sometimes credited to the battery even though the catcher is not involved, which can have an effect on total numbers). With the B-Ref data, it can be checked against the day-by-day defensive records also found on the site, and that could help to understand what exactly is counted or not. --Philippe (talk) 12:50, 21 October 2013 (EDT)
