His obituary has a birthdate of December 30th, which is what we had here. However, his BR page says October 30th. I'm assuming the obit and what we had here is correct, so I'm keeping that. Also, I'm assuming WWII service is what caused the late start to his career, but I don't see it mentioned in his obit. -Chisoxfan (talk) 15:58, 24 August 2013 (EDT)

He would have theoretically finished college around 1946, so WWII wouldn't explain inactivity from 1946 to 1950. --Jeff (talk) 16:16, 24 August 2013 (EDT)
