Talk:Gene Kern

Found a census record for a Eugene Kern born in New York in 1930 and another one born in PA in 1928; there's an obit for the second one that mentions service in the Korean War, but his time in the Air Force overlapped the player's career, and there is no mention of baseball, so it's not likely to be him. Couldn't find anything else on the first one, who may well be the player. He could conceivably still be alive. Philippe (talk) 17:18, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
