This article clarifies things: "Garrett spent two years at Sierra Vista High in Las Vegas before moving to California and enrolling at Leuzinger High in Lawndale.....Garrett planned to stay at Leuzinger, but basketball coach Reggie Morris Jr. was issued a notice of non-reelection by the Centinela Valley Union High School District, meaning he was let go....After Garrett’s big junior season, Findlay College Prep became an option. Findlay basically is a basketball team rather than a school, with players on the team given tuition money to attend Henderson International School across the street."
