Talk:300 win club
Charts need to be updated. - --Mischa 12:31, 5 June 2009 (EDT)
I'm not sure that the home run or offensive explosion had anything to do with the number of 300 game winners. The offense goes both ways - a pitcher may give up more homers, but his team will hit more too. There would just be more 6-4 wins instead of 3-2 wins. --Jeff 14:11, 5 June 2009 (EDT)
John Lackey is 3rd among active pitchers in wins? I would have never guessed that. --Jeff (talk) 02:50, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
Yes, it is quite surprising. The retirements of Tim Hudson and Mark Buehrle have moved him up, but there's a bunch of pitchers around 150 wins who will pass him before too long. --Philippe (talk) 17:11, 1 November 2016 (EDT)
