Biographical Information

Tae-woong Yu has played for the South Korea national baseball team.

Yu represented South Korea in the 2023 Asian Championship. He was 0-for-4 against Hong Kong, and he went 2-for-4 record with 2 RBI against State of Palestine. He then had a 0-for-1 against the Philippines. In the Bronze Medal game, Yu went 0-for-1 with 2 walks and Korea beat the Philippines with a 7-0 score to win Bronze. He went undrafted in the 2024 KBO draft, and the Lotte Giants signed him.
