Biographical Information

Syed Khawar Shah founded the Pakistan Federation Baseball in 1992 and guided it for the next 26 years, through their first Asian Championship appearance in 2003, first Asian Games in 2010 and first global tournament in the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, when his son Syed Fakhar Ali Shah was the manager. He started annual national titles in Pakistan for both men and women; at the time of his death, Pakistan's men's team was ranked 26th in the world and the women's team was 12th. His grandsons Syed Ali Shah and Syed Muhammad Shah later played for Pakistan.
