Biographical Information

Su-Chen Ou pitched in the CPBL.

Ou was selected by the Fubon Guardians in the eighth round of the 2018 CPBL Draft, and he had a 3.38 ERA in 5 appearances in his rookie year. He improved to a 1.04 ERA in 14 games in 2019, but he had a shoulder injury in May and he missed three months. Ou's ERA rose to 4.58 in 21 games in 2020, and he had a 3.91 ERA in 28 games in 2021. He broke out in 2022, and he notched 9 holds with a 2.61 ERA in 40 games. He tied Yen-Ching Lu, Yi-Ta Lin and Ching-Ming Wang for 10th in holds. However, Ou struggled in 2023, and his ERA was 6.55 in 30 games.

Ou's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 90.7 mph), changeup, curveball and slider.
