Biographical Information

Yi-Ta Lin pitched in the CPBL.

Lin was drafted by the Wei Chuan Dragons in the second round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, and he soon joined their bullpen as a rookie. He notched 7 holds with a 4.73 ERA in 24 games in 2021, then he lowered his ERA to 3.10 in 31 relief outings in 2022. He tied Yen-Ching Lu, Shu-Cheng Ou and Ching-Ming Wang for 10th with 9 holds in the league. However, Lin struggled in 2023, and his ERA rose to 8.53 in 15 games.

Lin's repertoire includes a fastball (peak 95.6 mph) and slider.
