Biographical Information

Stuart Baron has pitched for the South African national team.

He was 0-1 with a 21.60 ERA in the 2016 U-23 Baseball World Cup. In the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier, he pitched one game and did well against champion Israel in a 11-1 loss. Relieving Dylan Unsworth in the 5th with a 6-0 deficit, he retired Nick Rickles, Robb Paller and Ty Kelly in order. In the 6th, he gave up a Benjamin Wanger double, got Simon Rosenbaum on a grounder and Zach Penprase singled. Mitch Glasser hit a sacrifice fly and Blake Gailen grounded out. Callan Pearce took over in the 7th.
