Biographical Information[edit]

After his playing career ended, Steve Lubratich managed the Spokane Indians in 1988, the Riverside Red Wave in 1989, and the Wichita Wranglers in 1990 and 1991. After having played for Spokane in 1982, during which he hit .338, Steve Lubratich led Spokane to a Northwest League title in his rookie year as manager six seasons later.

Lubratich was Assistant GM of the Detroit Tigers from 1996 to 2001 and then was Director of Player Personnel of the Cleveland Indians (through at least 2011). He was Director, Pro Scouting for the Indians in 2013.
