Biographical Information

Pitcher Steve Chitren was signed as a 6th round pick in the 1989 amateur draft by the Oakland A's and scout Grady Fuson. A two-time College World Series champion with the Stanford Cardinal, Steve made 64 appearances out of the Oakland bullpen between 1990 and 1991, finishing his career with a 2-4, 3.58 record and 66 strikeouts in 78 innings.
