Stephen Sayles is a trainer.

Sayles was a college teammate of Tony Gwynn and Kerwin Danley. Undrafted, the outfielder played one season in the San Diego Padres chain, hitting .257/.310/.304 for the 1983 Miami Marlins. He appeared in 81 games. Having a degree in physical therapy, Sayles remained in the Padres chain as a trainer. He was head athletic trainer of the Las Vegas Stars from 1993-1997. He then moved to the Oakland Athletics as assistant major league trainer from 1998-2007. In 2008, he was promoted to head trainer. He was picked as one of two American League trainers for the 2009 All-Star Game.
