Biographical Information

Soo-cheol Sok represented South Korea in the 1995 Asian Championship. The Ssangbangwool Raiders selected him in the first round of the 1996 KBO draft, and he hit .266/.319/.360 in 114 games in 1996. However, he suffered from hip injury, and his career ended. Sok later became an assistant coach of Sungkyunkwan University from 1999 to 2011, and he was named the coach of Gunsan Sangil High School in 2013. He also coached South Korea in the 2017 U-18 Baseball World Cup, 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup and 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup.
