Biographical Information[edit]
Shurendell Mujica played for the San Francisco Giants farm chain for two years. He hit .219/.332/.266 with 22 steals in 28 tries for the 2010 DSL Giants, while fielding .946 at SS. He was second on the club in swipes, behind Jesus Galindo. The next year, he batted .221/.361/.313 with 24 steals in 37 tries and 42 runs in 58 games for the DSL Giants, fielding .943 at SS and .989 at 2B. He went 7 for 20 with a double, run, two RBI and two steals for Curacao in the 2013 World Port Tournament, leading his team in average. He finished among the tournament leaders in average (2nd to Dwayne Kemp), slugging (5th), OBP (6th), hits (7, tied for second, one behind Kemp) and steals (tied for second with Johnny Gregorius, behind teammate Raywendley van Gurp).
