Biographical Information

Shinichi Inoue was picked by the Nankai Hawks in the 5th round of the 1977 NPB draft but did not sign. He was on the Japanese national team in the 1978 Amateur World Series, going 3 for 11 with a run and a RBI. He had two putouts in the field, backing up Kyoichi Kikuchi and Mitsuo Hirasawa in LF, Mitsugu Kobayashi in CF and Hiromi Seki in RF.
