Biographical Information[edit]
Hiromi Seki was an outfielder who represented Japan in the 1977 Intercontinental Cup and 1978 Amateur World Series. He played for NKK Fukuyama in the Industrial League after college. Starting in right in the 1978 Series, he hit .313/.421/.406 with 7 runs in 10 games, going 5-for-6 in steals. He tied Jae-bak Kim for 4th in the tournament in swipes, well back of teammate Mitsugu Kobayashi's leading total of 13. He had 12 putouts, oen assist and no errors.
