Biographical Information[edit]
Sheng-San Tu is a member of the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame.
He was on the Taiwanese national team that won Silver in the 1969 Asian Championship, their best in 14 years. He was with Taiwan for the 1967 Asian Championship and 1972 Amateur World Series, their first Amateur World Series. He played in the 1973 Intercontinental Cup (the first Intercontinental Cup) and then capped a busy year with the 1973 FEMBA Amateur World Series.
Tu then coached for the country and won the bronze in the 1984 World Junior Championship. He also coached them in the 1987 World Port Tournament, and served as manager in 1997 World Port Tournament. In 2021, he was inducted into the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame alongside Ming-Yung Hsieh.
