Biographical Information

Shao-Wen Lan played in the CPBL for 2 years. His cousin Shao-Pai Lan also played in the CPBL.

Lan was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 6th round of the 2009 CPBL Draft, and he hit .243/.355/.292 in the minors in 2010. He was 0-for-4 in 2011, and he spent his 2012 season in the minors; he hit .277/.348/.381 there. Lan went 2-for-12 with the big club in 2013, and he was placed in the minors until he announced his retirement in 2014.

Overall, Lan hit .125/.125/.125 with 2 hits in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
