Biographical Information[edit]

Utility player Seth Spivey began his professional career in 2014 after being taken by the Texas Rangers in the 10th round of the 2014 amateur draft. The scout was Bobby Crook. His first year, with the Spokane Indians, he hit .332/.424/.444 with 51 runs and 86 hits in 67 games. In 2015, he slumped to .250/.309/.366 with 93 hits for the High Desert Mavericks and in 2016, he fell further to .219/.317/.315 in 94 games between Spokane and High Desert.

He was a Baseball America Short Season All-Star in 2014, a MiLB.com Organization All-Star in 2014 and a Mid-Season All-Star in 2014 and 2016.
