Biographical Information[edit]
Sean Killeen made his pro debut in 2009.
As a college senior, Killeen hit .448 with 11 homers and set school records in hits (64) and walks (35) while tying the run record (57). The American Baseball Coaches Association and D3Baseball.Com both rated him as the All-American catcher for NCAA Division III in 2009. Undrafted, he signed with the Boston Red Sox.
Killeen hit .250/.321/.289 in 23 games for the 2009 Lowell Spinners, serving as the team's most-used backstop. He has split 2010 between Lowell (.179/.281/.464, 5 HR in 56 AB) and the Greenville Drive (.324/.458/.459 in 15 G) through August 28.
