Biographical Information[edit]
A career minor league pitcher, Sean Fesh's claim to fame was being part of the 12 player trade between the Houston Astros and San Diego Padres in 1994 that sent Ken Caminiti and Steve Finley to the Padres and Derek Bell to the Astros.
Fesh began his 16-year minor league career when he was drafted by the Astros in the 61st round (1468th overall) in the 1991 amateur draft. He reached as high as the AAA Tucson Toros in the Houston system before the trade. Following the deal he bounced around the minors playing in the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Colorado Rockies, Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves organizations. He also pitched for the independent Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League in 2001 and 2006.
