Biographical Information[edit]

Scottie Allen made his minor league debut in 2009.

Allen was picked by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 11th round of the 2009 amateur draft. He allowed just a .145 average in 12 games for the Missoula Osprey that summer, going 1-0 with a 0.51 ERA. Moving to the rotation, he was 4-4 with a 4.73 ERA for the 2010 South Bend Silver Hawks, with 79 strikeouts in 78 innings. Arizona then dealt him to the New York Yankees for Juan Miranda.
