Biographical Information[edit]
Scott Maxwell played for Team Canada in the 1984 Olympics and 1985 Intercontinental Cup. The New York Yankees took him in the 8th round of the January 1985 draft but he did not sign. He signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as a free agent. In 1986, he hit .242/.333/.323 in 36 games for the Medicine Hat Blue Jays while playing error-free ball in the outfield (and briefly at 1B). Among his outfield mates were Mark Whiten and Junior Felix. That was his only season as a pro.
