Saskatoon Smokin' Guns
In 1996 the Saskatoon Riot of the Prairie League changed names to become the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns. They were 16-19 in the first half but fell to 14-28 in the second half. The manager was Andre Johnson and the Saskatoon, SK-based team drew 22,991 fans, 7th in the 10-team league. The team had no All-Stars or prominent players. In 1998 they changed names once more, this time to the Saskatoon Stallions.
