They went 32-38 that season under manager Ron Malcolm and had league steal leader Jason Shapiro (44 swipes) and ERA leader Jim Campbell (6-3, 1.63). In 1995 they moved to the Prairie League and the Saskatoon, SK-based team finished third in the 4-team Canadian Division with a 26-45 record for George Scott. Attendance was a decent 38,711. In 1996 the club changed their name to the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns.
