Sana Jinsiya Kacheri Kunnummal has been on the Indian women's national team.
She debuted in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup and was their starting catcher. In the opening round, she was 1-for-5 with two walks and a run, had 18 putouts and an assist and allowed 13 steals in 14 tries. She was second to Sandunika Nawanjalee Basnayake Mudiyanselage Udabannak Gedara in putouts. India advanced to the main round, in which she was 1-for-5 again, but with 6 walks, four steals and five runs (three in a game against Indonesia). She fielded .955 but allowed 75 steals without throwing out a runner. She tied Yaya Kojima and Chi Lin for the event lead in walks and led India in runs (one ahead of Nandini Sharma). She tied Nanako Hanabusa for 6th with 19 putouts but allowed the most swipes (29 more than #2 Afiska Louhenapessy, who also did not throw out anyone). [1]
