Biographical Information[edit]

Samuel Wright hit .298 in 14 games for the Huntington Blue Sox in 1913. He is also listed as the club's initial manager that year, though he was replaced by Harry Redman partway through the campaign. He is also listed as the skipper of the Youngstown Champs in 1908. He then served as President of the Ohio-Pennsylvania League in 1909 and 1910.
