Biographical Information[edit]

Reliever Ryan Slack began his professional career in 2012 after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Texas Rangers on June 21st.

With the AZL Rangers his first year, he went 6-2 with a 5.34 ERA in 13 games, striking out 37 batters in 32 innings. In 2013, he went 2-1 with a 4.06 ERA in 26 games (five starts) between the Spokane Indians and Hickory Crawdads, collecting 76 whiffs in 62 innings. He pitched for the Crawdads in 2014, going 9-2 with a 3.29 ERA in 39 games, K-ing 94 batters in 82 innings. He was a South Atlantic League Mid-Season All-Star that year. He began 2015 with the High Desert Mavericks.
