Ryan Sterling

Ryan Sterling has coached for the German national team.

Sterling spent four years at Georgia State University, setting a couple school defensive records. As a sophomore, he was All-Atlantic Sun Conference. He retired among the school's top 10 all-time in runs (116), hits (182), doubles (37), triples (7), walks (79) and sacrifice hits (33, the all-time leader). Sterling was then an assistant coach in 2006-2007 under Greg Frady. In the summer, Frady was manager of the German national team and he put Sterling on his staff. Ryan coached for Germany in the 2007 European Championship, 2007 Baseball World Cup and 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament. He was also head coach of the 2007 Saarlouis Hornets.
