Biographical Information

Ryan Khoury hit .438 with 13 home runs and 56 RBIs as a senior at the University of Utah and was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the 12th round of the 2006 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that summer with the Lowell Spinners and hit .236 in 40 games there. He was then promoted to the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox, hitting .143 in 9 games before ending the year with the Greenville Drive, for whom he hit .389 in 6 games. With the Lancaster JetHawks in 2007, he notched a .300 average to go along with 11 homers and 69 RBIs.
