Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Ryan Harvey was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the first round of the 2003 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Rolando Pino and made his pro debut that summer.

On July 28, 2006, he became the first player in the history of the Florida State League to connect for four homers in one game when he managed the feat for the Daytona Cubs against the Clearwater Threshers in a 10-9 win. Another Cubs prospect, Javier Baez, was the next player to accomplish the feat, on June 10, 2013.
