Biographical Information

Pitcher Ryan Edell played in the minor leagues from 2005 to 2011, going 46-37 with a 3.60 ERA in 164 games (129 starts). He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 8th round of the 2005 amateur draft - one pick ahead of pitcher Clayton Richard and ahead of outfielder Austin Jackson - and was signed by scout Chris Jefts.
