Biographical Information[edit]
Rusty Pence spent most of May playing for the 1921 White Sox, after the Black Sox had been cleared out. Rusty was thirteen years younger than teammate Eddie Collins.
Although they played at the same time, Rusty Pence is not listed as related to Elmer Pence.
After his major league days, Rusty spent several years in Texas, playing for Houston, Dallas and Waco. The book Baseball in Dallas has a photo of the 1926 Dallas Steers who won the league; Pence is a part of that photo.
