Biographical Information

Elmer Pence had a minimal cup of coffee in 1922. Many years later he was one of a number of former major leaguers listed by Baseball Digest in 1962 as "lost". He was, however, soon found and later died in San Francisco in 1968.

While the minor league database does not show any affiliations for him, there are a number of seasons between 1922-31 listed as known only for a player named "Pence".

Although he was a contemporary, he is not listed as a relative of Rusty Pence.
