Biographical Information

Ruei-Cheng Yang played in the CPBL for 5 years. His brother Chia-Sheng Yang and his cousin Yu-Yu Fan played in the CPBL.

Yang was drafted by the Lamigo Monkeys in the 7th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, but he only played one game with the big club in his rookie year. He hit .327/.419/.569 with 7 homers in the minor league in 2020, and he also recorded a .345/.429/.527 batting line with 3 homers for the big club in 21 games. The Fubon Guardians selected him as the compensation of free agent Hung-Cheng Lai, and Yang hit .249/.342/.349 for them in 2021. He only played 10 games combined with their big club in the next two seasons, and he announced his retirement after the 2023 season.

Overall, Yang had hit .263/.360/.377 with 62 hit and 4 homers in 5 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
