Biographical Information[edit]
Rudy Kling posted a .429 OBP in 10 at-bats in 1902 with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Kling, who played in the minors from 1895-1911, appeared with more than a dozen minor league teams. Except for 1902 and 1903 when he was with Terre Haute for at least part of each year, he never spent two years in a row with any one team.
Through 2008 there have been two other major leaguers with the last name Kling: Johnny Kling and Bill Kling, who were brothers.
