Biographical Information[edit]

Royce Holder has been a coach and a manager.

After playing baseball in college, Holder helped his softball team win three straight titles from 1981-1992. He was hitting coach for the Coastal Bend Aviators in 2005, managed the 2007 Texas Heat and was bench coach for the 2008 Grand Prairie AirHogs. In 2009-2010, he coached the Vos Cardinals to two championships in the Dutch minor leagues. He moved up to the Hoofdklasse in 2011 as head coach of UVV. The team did well, 17-25, to finish 5th in 2011, considering that they had just been promoted to the Hoofdklasse. After the season, he was replaced by Frank Koene. He managed the Trinidad Triggers of the Pecos League in 2015 and 2016.
