The Texas Heat was a traveling team in the Continental Baseball League. They only played the 2007 season before becoming the Corpus Christi Beach Dawgs.
They had more success than the typical traveling team, posting a winning record, second in the league. They even had the league MVP, Robby Winn (.341, 21 HR in 176 AB). Mitch Elliott (.326) led the circuit with 45 steals.
