Biographical Information

The brother of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, outfielder Roy Mantle played three seasons of minor league ball. With the Monroe Sports in 1955, he hit .272 with 6 home runs and was a Cotton States League All-Star.

In addition to Mickey, Roy had a twin brother Ray Mantle, who was his teammate during part of his career.

In 1968, Mantle was dealing cards at the Desert Inn Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
