Biographical Information[edit]
Ross "Brick" Eldred played 13 years (1916, 1918-1928, 1930) in the Pacific Coast League. Eldred collected 2,034 hits, 755 RBI's, 57 homers and 219 stolen bases in 1,709 games in the league. He spent most of his career with the Seattle Rainiers/Seattle Indians. He also spent time with the Salt Lake City Bees and Sacramento Senators.
Eldred's spent most of his career in the PCL but also went to play in the International League in 1917 with the Newark Bears. He also spent the 1929 season with the Wichita Falls Spudders of the Texas League where he hit .369. After than season he returned to the west coast to finish his career with one more year with Sacramento.
In 2003 he was elected to the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the LaSalle Hall of Fame and Marysville Old-Timers Hall of Fame.
