Biographical Information[edit]
Ronnie Miller pitched one game for the 1941 Washington Senators. He had been at Upper Iowa University from 1939-41.
The only other major leaguer (through 2009) from Upper Iowa University is pitcher Dale Alderson, who was there from 1939-42.
Ronnie also pitched one game for Sioux Falls in 1941, winning it.
He came back in 1946 to go 17-6 for Charlotte, where he was a teammate of Sonny Dixon. Neither of them came up to the majors that year, even though the Senators were an under-.500 team.
Ronnie also pitched in the minors in 1947-48, serving as manager in 1948 for Henderson.
