Biographical Information

Infielder Ron Kabbes played seven seasons of minor league ball. He began his career with the Albany Cardinals in the St. Louis Cardinals organization in 1957, hitting .246 in 97 games. He reached the AAA level with the Rochester Red Wings in 1959. Following the 1961 season, he was dealt to the Baltimore Orioles for Johnny Kucks. He spent his final two pro seasons back with Rochester, now an O's farm team.
