Biographical Information[edit]
Roman Goloubkhine played for the Russian national team.
Goloubkhine was with Russia for the 1997 European Championship. [1] In the 1998 Baseball World Cup, he split catching with Andrei Selivanov. He was 1 for 10 with two RBI, a walk and a hit-by-pitch, making no errors in seven chances and throwing out one of ten would-be base-stealers. His lone hit came off Team Canada's Martin La Freniere. He still tied Dimitri Lukin for second on Russia in RBI, two behind Iouri Perepelitsa. [2]
