Biographical Information[edit]

Roger Savodelli pitched 3 1/3 IP for the Swiss national team in the 2013 B-Level European Championship, allowing 7 hits and 3 unearned runs while fanning three. [1] He was 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA for the Zurich Barracudas in the 2016 CEB Cup, losing to the Rouen Huskies. He led the event in hits allowed (18) and runs allowed (17). [2] He coached for Switzerland when they won one of the 2022 European Championship Qualifiers to make it to the 2023 European Championship, their first European Championship. [3] It is unclear if he was related to teammate Cee-Jay Savoldelli, but one presumes it is likely (father-son?) He also coached for Switzerland in the 2023 Euros. [4]
