In 1936 the Omaha Robin Hoods moved to Rock Island, IL after their park burned down. They became known as the Rock Island Rocks and went 62-64 on the season. 45-year-old Hank Severeid was catching for the club, which was led by MVP 1B Dutch Prather (league leader with 22 homers, 79 walks and 102 runs, second with 101 RBI and tied for second with 238 total bases) and All-Star RF Dave Goodman (second in the league with 30 steals, 68 walks and 101 runs, 4th with 33 doubles and 92 RBI, 3rd with 152 hits, tied for the lead with 14 triples, led the league with 246 total bases).
