Biographical Information[edit]

Robin Jennings, the first and only player in major league history born in Singapore, played four seasons in the big leagues. He had a thirteen-year minor league career.

Jennings left professional baseball after 2003 and worked for a strength and conditioning company. In 2007 he decided to make a comeback and played at the AA level, getting promoted to the AAA level later in the season.

Jennings pitched four times in his minor league career, posting an ERA of 2.08.

Through 2008 there have been six major leaguers with the last name Jennings, beginning in 1878 with Alamazoo Jennings. Both Robin and Jason Jennings appeared on the 2001 Colorado Rockies.
